This page is for individual applicants who are not applying as a member of a school or community based team. To apply, please submit the following information. Space at each camp is limited and applications are confirmed on a first come first serve basis. High school youth applicants must be in grades 9-12 in 2008-09. Applicants to the Environmental Leadership track MAY have previously attended an ITI High School Camp. Applicants to the High School Leadership Camp MAY NOT have previously attended an ITI High School Camp (please see our participant criteria for more detailed eligibility requirements ).

(Must be a school or program administrator who is willing to be contacted by ITI or who is willing to submit a letter of recommendation to supplement this application. The reference must be able to confirm that you meet ITI participant criteria.)

The Indiana Teen Institute has a 27 year commitment of providing quality summer camps while keeping the financial burden for participants to a minimum.

The 2010 High School Leadership Camp, all inclusive, individual tuition fee is $350. If two or more applications are submitted from the same school or organization, each tuition fee is $325.

Payment Information

All payments are refundable, less a $25 administrative processing fee, if the ITI office receives the cancellation request no less than 15 business days prior to the event. Fees are non-refundable if cancellation notification is received with fewer than 15 business days. All fees must be paid on or before the first day of the camp unless other arrangements have been approved in advance by ITI.

Space is limited and reservations are not valid until the Application is received and the reservation is confirmed by an ITI representative via phone, email, or postal mail. Each participant must also complete separate ITI consent forms. Consent forms and additional orientation materials will be mailed upon acceptance of this application.

Eligible youth participants must:

- Have demonstrated leadership potential.

- Have demonstrated the maturity and ability to work as a team member.

- Have demonstrated tolerance of those seen as different from him/herself.

- Be making healthy decisions concerning alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.

- Have a desire to improve conditions for Hoosiers in their community and beyond.

- Be prepared for an Active & Rigorous, indoor-outdoor experience!

- Have the ability to attend the entire conference.

- Be willing and capable of following all rules and guidelines established by ITI.

- Meet the session age requirements.

- Have parental-guardian consent to attend as a youth participant.

- Have time and energy to take action upon return to the community.
